Fiance and I leave for Belize in two weeks! While I’ve talked all about the wedding, I figured it would be good to share some of your honeymoon plans as well. It could also be that I’m in desperate need of a vacation and can’t stop daydreaming! Without further ado, let me introduce you to our Belize honeymoon plan!
Hallelujah! While I fully expected good seafood in Belize, I was not expecting an entire Lobsterfest! We were much delighted to find that there will be one taking place for the entire time we’re down there. Boiled lobster. Grilled lobster. Lobster roll. Lobster salad. Lobster pizza. I could go on forever! Let’s just say I will be eating well.
2. Scuba Diving
With a reef just 2nd in size to the Great Barrier, you better belize (see what I did there?) I will be diving. Fiance isn’t certified, but he’ll be up top watching me while he snorkels.
3. Cave Tubing!
Ever heard of cave tubing? We hadn’t either. However, with my love of water sports and fiance’s love for lazy rivers, it was meant to be. I think I’ll be a little spooked at first, but it’ll all be worth it.
4. See animals!
Between the Jaguar Preserve and the Belize Zoo, we plan on making some new furry friends. Don’t worry, we won’t get too close, especially to the exotic birds. A certain someone (*cough*not me*cough*) doesn’t like birds so much.
5. Be in love.
I didn’t want to get too mushy, but here it is. We are getting married after all. As much as as we want to explore a new land and adventure out together, we also want to soak in our new relationship status. It is a vacation and after work, school, and managing everything else, it will be important to just have our alone time as newlyweds and relax.
Watch out, Belize! Here we come!
