I would love to tell you about one of my obsessions: Britain. The accents, the phone booths, the innovative style, and the food has this overpowering effect on me.  Because my grandfather was in the Air Force, my mom ended up traveling around and living in multiple European countries, including England, during her teen years. This is an opportunity she always brushes off like it’s no big deal. Hello, Mom! You lived in England when you were a teenager. This is a big deal!

Despite my appreciation (and ancestry), my mom refuses to pass down her band tees and utlra cool sheer raincoat from those days, so I have to find my own British gear.
