I think we all know I have a hard time with color, hence the name of this blog.  Black is always my go-to, my fail-safe, my easy-out.  So when I received this Ruched Cowl Dress from Baukjen, similar here, I was a little scared of such a bold choice. I had to shake myself and realize, “Hello, you’re someone that wears giant fascinators, fingerless gloves, and too many feathers. Color is okay.”

After first putting on this dress, I realized that it was going to become one of my staples.  It’s simple, but can easily be dressed up. Because it’s ruched, it accentuates every single curve and gives me that va-va-voom look that Husband definitely appreciates.
