As you see, I’ve gotten a little bit of a haircut.  It’s actually quite a major cut, since Val at Laura Braunstein Salon chopped off around eight inches. I’m still trying to figure out styling since my top knot is out of the question, so bare with me.

Also, I’ve got some new eye jewels! As you know, I’m a huge fan of eyewear as accessories.  However, I’m not a fan of pricey eyewear, especially when trends and prescriptions change yearly.

Let me introduce you to Firmoo Eyewear. It’s an online source for affordable prescription eyewear.  They offer a great selection with lots of fun colors and prints. I wanted to try something a little different, so I went with the TR-100 full frame (c/o Firmoo) in a funky black/green combo. They arrived in a fun orange case, perfect for spotting in a giant bag, as well as a microfiber easy carry bag.  The glasses themselves are so lightweight I can barely tell that I’m wearing them.  For once, I found a pair that doesn’t leave an indent on my nose.  Thank goodness for that!

As for the rest of my outfit, I’m wearing my new ASOS Jungle Mirror Print Top with my Evil Pawn Jewelry Mourning Necklace.  I’m quite a burst of color, especially when pairing it with my Prada banana bag.  Summer deserves a bit of wardrobe sunshine though, right?
