A few weeks ago, I did something bad. Very bad. I went to the infamous Christian Louboutin sample sale. Need I say more?
1. It’s just as crazy as you would imagine. People were actually being kicked out for throwing shoes around. And I was in the city at 6:30 AM to buy shoes. Now I know why fashion people have a reputation for being a little crazy.
2. Once again, it’s all about who you know in NY. While I was able to score an invite, Chris from Tiny TieRant and I were able to get in a little early with help of a lovely pin-up who shall remain nameless.
3. They are considered my graduation presents, which is kind of perfect when you graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
4. Let’s not talk about the prices. While they were significantly slashed prices (50-75% off), I think my credit card still had a minor heart attack while being swiped.
I can’t wait to wear my new shoe babies!
