Happy one year to Black + Blonde One! It’s been one year full of a big learning curve, a busy schedule, and lots of photos.  Let me take you back.

I was in a job that wasn’t fulfilling my creative and fashion needs. I needed something to take up my free time and something to keep me entertained. I had been reading blogs for a few years, but I never  had the bright idea to start one.

Fiance suggested I start a blog, which was bascially genius. I started immediately.  One week later, he proposed.  From day one, this blog has been about sharing, whether it’s my personal accomplishments, pretty shoes, or an important fashion industry discussion.

I’ve gained loyal readers, fabulous friends, and been present at some of the best fashion events NY has to offer. I feel incredibly blessed and lucky to have this opportunity.  In my head, I’m still that shy girl from Indiana and I’m amazed at what I’ve been able to do.

Thank you, everyone, for taking this ride with me. I look forward to another great year of blogging and all of the beautiful fashion to come!
