Reads of the Week

topreads

As a mission to further support other bloggers, draw inspiration, and share a little bit more about my style, I present to you Reads of the Week.  As you may or may not have noticed, I have ceased my Books of the Month posts.  Sadly, I had a handful of plagairists to deal with and it became more of a burden than anything. I am continuing to read and I would love to share my favorites with you.  Feel free to tweet me (@blackblondeone) or email me (blackandblondeone@gmail.com) to discuss!

If I Could I Would: I love the basic styling of this. I’m a huge fan of cobalt anything, so paired with black makes me go crazy! I love how regal it looks.

Nutz 4 Coconut Oil: This article breaks down the history of coconut oil and gives a resoundingly positive review.  I’ve given my opinion before, but it’s good to have some backup!

Beauty Archetypes: This is a great post about the history and relationship between witches and beauty.  It’s funny how society can turn nearly anything into a sex symbol.

Writing for the Senses: I love to learn. If I could go to school for the rest of my life I would. I just recently found this site and it’s been a great addition to my self-imposed studies.

Video Slam: Stephanie from Glam Slam is one of my favorite blogger friends I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. She’s genuinely kind and sincerely sweet.  I know it takes a lot of guts to do videos and put yourself out there, but I’m very proud of her for following her dreams!

Perm Paper Curls: I love this tip! It’s great for any type of hair, but especially if you have color-treated or damaged hair.

What were your top reads this week?

Lindsay, you are sooooo sweet! Thanks so much for including my first You Tube video, “Video Glam!” in your reads of the week; it means so much to me! I am so honored that we’ve “met” and become such good friends! Someday we’ll meet up in NYC! Love you!

    xoxo , Stephanie :)
