I never really had a problem with materialism until I got older. My first very uncomfortable moment was when I reached college, a private one at that. All of the girls had Louis Vuitton purses, Dior sunglasses, and other high-end accessories. I felt completely out of place.
I'm a strong believer in fashion not having to be designer driven, although at times it helps. Without coming off too cliche, your personal style should come from within, not from a label. I wanted to make this post because it's an issue we can get easily sucked into, especially if a sale is involved. Sometimes I feel like people will just eat up anything a logo on it, pun intended. Hence today's featured editorial via FashionMag.
Sometimes I'm just too clever for my own good.

I know what you're talking about :)
I’m your big fan – your style is really original and I read your blog very often and I just wonder..if we could follow each other.. But even if your answer is “no” I’ll be still your reader <3

Haha so funny!! I really like something because of what it is and not the name it has. I do have a LV handbag but that is because I really love it and not because it is LV.
how funny!
The necklaces are from dorothy perkins (small one) and the other one from a local store called Bijou Brigitte

This is fun!
I'm actually impressed if people can have great style with just budget pieces and not if they wear only expensive brands :)

It's so interesting how mind's work when it comes to following trends. I think individuality is the best route - but I bet there would be less vegetarians in the world if a steak was stamped with a LV!

Very cute post! Loving the photos ;) I was never into designer things either, but sometimes I feel like you have to treat yourself.

WOW you have a stronge and good opinion about that!! I totally agree with you, we don't need a Prada's bag to be or represent something!!!
