In my eyes, leopard will always be classic. I treat it similar to fun neutral, like a fire-engine red. Although I tend to like to make a statement anyways, I thought it might be nice to show you all the things you can do with one simple skirt. It’s a crucial wardrobe piece that will keep your style fresh season to season.
The skirt in question? It’s the Jane Norman Pencil Skirt from Zalando. As you know from my previous post, they have a killer selection. I wanted to challenge myself and find 5 looks all from the same store. And trust me, I never just shop in one store.
For the playful look, I wanted to pair the skirt with a cute bunny shirt and easy trainers.
For the classic look, I thought a basic v-neck sweater, watch, and heels would really let the skirt shine.
You can’t do leopard and not have a vixen look. The necessities? Pumps. Some lace. And a waist cinching belt!
On the other hand, leopard can be ladylike too! The delicate blouse, gloves, and flats definitely give the leopard a more feminine, retro feel.
So I’ve shown you 4 great ways to wear leopard, but how would I personally wear it? I can this one the Lindsay! The leather jacket is a little rock’n'roll. The shoes are sophisticated with a fun print. And the top just pulls the look down to not look so formal.
