I am desperate. Yes, embarrassingly so. I am so desperate for proper boots. Every fall I encounter this problem wherein I can’t find boots that fit my criteria. The only ones I’ve found in the past 10 years have been in Italy. Here’s what I’m looking for:

Pointy toes.

Black. Of course.

Flat to low stacked heel (1-2″).

At least knee high.

Room in the calves. I’m not a model.

Good quality craftsmanship.

No embellishments, rhinestones, hardware, or extras. Basic boots.

Real leather. No suede.

No more than $300. I can’t technically even really spend that amount, but maybe promo or coupon codes can help.

Size 8.5 or 9.

Now, please help me! Be my stylist, guru, personal shopper, what have you.

For someone that can find these magical boots, I will send you an extra special surprise in the mail. And by mail, I mean the real mail, not email. Please, help a sister out!

Okay, J. Crew has the Booker Boot that might fit your needs. It does have some contrast stitching, but it is very subtle. All leather, low heel, and $298. I even have a coupon code you could use.
