I’m more than guilty of indulging in some statement pieces. Can you blame me? I just love pretty things! I would pick a pair of feather heels over basic trousers one hundred times over. When I found the Jane Hruska Fingerless Gloves at the Designer Collective Runway event, I knew I had met my match!
I was lucky enough to have the chance to personally meet Jane this week. She is as sweet as can be! Her warmth and joyous nature just put me at ease. We talked for a couple of hours about our love for vintage jewelry, old black & white films, and the beauty of minimal dress. I have definitely made a lifelong friend. One of her passions is collecting beads, of which she has close to a million! Her best find? A stockpile of Coco Chanel’s old beads! But let’s get back to those gloves! They are made of leather and have impeccable quality. While the normal person probably wouldn’t be drawn to a fingerless gloves, these are different! The shape is designed to create a sensual silhouette, so your fingers don’t look stumpy, which is what most fingerless gloves do. They are perfect for wearing during a night out, an edgy look during the day, or for a formal event. They are very feminine and romantic, so you don’t have to worry about looking like a scary biker!
